BVB stocks close Monday's trading session mostly higher on trades of RON 1.37 billion

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks closed Monday's trading session mostly higher with almost all indices up on total trades of over RON 1.37 billion (EUR 276.36 million).

The most traded stocks were Banca Transilvania, with RON 6.63 million in trades, followed by BRD - Groupe Societe Generale , which generated trades worth RON 4.66 million, and Hidroelectrica, with trades of RON 2.46 million.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks rose by 0.07% to 17,057.76 points, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks advanced 0.10%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks was up 0.10%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was up 0.57%.

The BET-FI index of financial investment stocks increased by 0.27%, while the BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, stagnated.

The BET AeRO index of 20 AeRO leading companies was down 1.27%.

The top three risers were UAMT (+13%), Mecanica Ceahlau (+12.40%) and Comelf (+7.96%).

The top three fallers were COMCM Constanta (-4.86%), Carbochim (-4.82%) and Sinteza (-3.64%).
