The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks opened lower on Thursday on trades of RON 22.83 million (EUR 4.32 million) 45 minutes into the trading session.
The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks fell by 2.17%, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks decreased by 2.14%.
The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks lost 2.01% of its value, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was down 2.01%.
The BET-FI index of financial brokerage stocks decreased by 0.21%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, decreased by 2.19%.
According to BVB, the top three risers were FDI Globinvest Energy & Financials ETF (+3.28%), Alumil Rom Industry (+1.92%), and Conpet (+1.36%).
On the other hand, the top three fallers were Cris-Tim Family Holding (-8.87%), Sinteza (-7.61%), and Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (-6.67%).
