The Competition Council is assessing a transaction through which Messer SE&Co intends to enter the ownership of Resity Technologies D.O.O., together with Delta Holding D.O.O., the council reported in a press statement on Tuesday.
According to the council, Messer SE&Co., Germany, has as main activity the production and distribution of industrial, specialty and medical gases. The company is part of the Messer group, present on the Romanian market.
Delta Holding D.O.O., Serbia, owned, prior to the transaction, the company Resity Technologies D.O.O. Delta Holdings deals with accounting, bookkeeping, auditing and tax consultancy. The company is part of the Delta Holding Group, which generates turnover in Romania through the companies in the group.
Resity Technologies D.O.O., Serbia, provides support for several SAP modules and platforms in the IT sector market.
Under Competition Law (21/1996), this transaction must be authorised by the Competition Council, which will assess it in order to establish its compatibility with a normal competitive environment and will issue a decision within the deadlines provided by the law.
