The meeting of Romania's Supreme Council of National Defence, led by President Klaus Iohannis, will take place on Tuesday, and the agenda features, among others, the activity review of the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) in 2016, the Regulation of organization and functioning of the Antiterrorist Operative Coordination Center and the White Paper of defence, the Presidential Administration informs.
Other topics that are to be tackled refer to the implementation of the Global Strategy of the European Union (defence and security dimension), Romania's armed forces that can be put at disposal in order to participate in missions and operations outside Romania's soil in 2018, the 2017-2018 endowment programme of the Romanian Army and the recent developments of the migration phenomenon and the main measures implemented nationwide.
