CyberCon conference to take place in Bucharest on Thursday and Friday

The Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance (ARASEC) and the European Commission Representation in Romania are organising in Bucharest, on Thursday and Friday, the CyberCon Romania 2025 conference, focusing research and exchange of best practices in the field of cybersecurity.

The conference is organised with the support of the Embassy of the United States of America in Romania.

Among the announced speakers are: Ioan Bacivarov, president of the Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance, Roxana Morea, counselor with the Representation of the European Commission in Romania, Andrei Baciu, vice president of the committee for defence, public order and national security of the Chamber of Deputies, Constantin Viorel Marian, vice president of IEEE Blockchain Group Romania, Danut Turcu, head of department at the "Carol I" National Defence University, Carmen Cirnu, scientific director with the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest, Claudia Nicolae, general director of the National News Agency AGERPRES, Emanuela Savu, general director of the Romanian Banking Institute, Dan Draghia, expert with the European Institute in Romania etc.

CyberCon Romania also includes the scientific conference International Conference on Cybersecurity and Cybercrime (IC3), dedicated to research and the exchange of best practices in the field of cybersecurity.
