Romanian weightlifter Dana Berchi won three silver medals on Wednesday at the European Junior and Under-23 Weightlifting Championships in Durres, Albania.
In the Under-23 57 kg category, Berchi won silver in the snatch with 85 kg, in the clean and jerk with 108 kg and in the total with 193 kg, agerpres reports.
In the junior (Under-20) competition, in the 75 kg category, Vladut Mihai Matei finished 13th in the snatch with 121 kg but failed all three attempts at 145 kg in the clean and jerk.
After three days of competition, Romania's medal tally stands at 11, comprising two gold, six silver and three bronze medals.
Romania is competing with 16 athletes, nine in the junior (Under-20) category and seven in the Under-23 category.
