Deputy Prime Minister Sevil Shhaideh said on Wednesday, upon leaving the seat of the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA), that she was called by prosecutors to be told that she had the possibility of challenging an expert. "At this point, I have been summoned with other people in the same case. We were informed that there is a possibility of challenging an expert in this case. I will take a final decision together with my lawyer. The deadline is tomorrow, and these were all the procedural aspects," said Shhaideh.
Asked when she is going to make a statement on the case, Shhaideh replied, "When I have the opportunity to study the file. The case file has just been forwarded, and I will have the opportunity, like everyone else, to study it."
Also on Wednesday, former Chairman of the Teleorman County Council Adrian Gadea came to DNA. Asked by journalists, upon leaving, if expert investigation in the case is important, Gadea said it is not him to decide.
"I am not the one to determine whether or not it is important. It is the criminal prosecution bodies that order all the procedural actions in this case," said Gadea.
