An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 on Richter scale occurred on Tuesday, at 19:50 local time, in Buzau County, Vrancea seismic zone, according to data made public by the National Research and Development Institute for Earth Physics (INCDFP).
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 120.5 kilometers, near the cities: 49 kilometers northwest of Buzau, 63 km southwest of Focsani, 68 km northeast of Ploiesti, 65 km southeast of Sfantu - Gheorghe, 66 km east of Brasov, 99 km northeast of Targoviste.
Since the beginning of this month, four earthquakes have occurred in Romania.
