''Once again, the Constitutional Court is mocking the Romanian people, is attacking our democracy and our essential rights and freedoms. We stand with Calin Georgescu! Freedom! We will fight for it, no matter what!,'' Simion wrote on X.
The judges of the Constitutional Court rejected on Tuesday the appeal filed by Calin Georgescu, upholding the decision of the Central Electoral Bureau to invalidate his candidacy for the presidential elections in May, sources with the Constitutional Court told AGERPRES.
