The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, stated on Friday that the green certificate will not be used for religious services, mentioning that everyone agrees with this.
"The COVID certificate remains of interest. We have discussed with doctor Tararu to find a formula that can be accepted in Parliament and applied when the epidemiological situation requires it," said Rafila, when asked about the application of the green certificate.
He said that a law should be prepared to be voted in Parliament, and that the provisions will apply when the number of cases increases up to a certain level.
"Some things are very clear. Everyone has agreed. We will not use such a document [the green certificate - editor's note] in the case of the religious services. We all greed on this. On the contrary, we need the support of the Church," mentioned Alexandru Rafila.
A first meeting between the representatives of the Government and those of religious denominations took place on Thursday. AGERPRES
