About 300 people protested in Victoriei Square on Sunday against the pardon draft law to be voted in the Senate on Monday.

The protestors carried banners that read "The rule of law is not for bargain," "You are playing with fire" "#We see you", "Romania demands no pardon" "PSD is not an honest merchant" and chanted "Romania, wake up!", "PSD, the Red Plague", "May it rain, may it snow, united we shall prevail".

Around 20:00 hrs, the demonstrators formed a procession and headed for the Parliament Palace, on the sidewalk. Circulation on the protesters' route was not interrupted.

The protest was summoned on Facebook.

'' Sunday is the day when we have to tell parliamentarians, louder than ever: #We see you! And we have to make them understand that when they vote in the plenary sitting the amendments proposed by Serban Nicolae and Traian Basescu (in fact the resumption of OUG 13), our eyes will be set on them. Some of them have the impression that if we are not physically in front of them, that means we are not paying attention. It is high time we showed them that it is not so. That's why we invite to the protest a photo of yourselves. It may be from when you were younger, it may be from your side profile, the important thing is to represent you. We are going to pin them to the fence of the Parliament Palace. The "Wall#Weseeyou" will be the first thing the MPs will see on Monday when they arrive at the plenary sitting. And they will know that thousands of people are still there. Our advice is to stick the photos with duct tape on the metallic side or to lean them against the wall. In this way, we cannot be accused of destruction, and the final picture will have a maximum impact," wrote the organizers on the socialization page.

The protest ended on Sunday night, around 22:00 hrs in front of the Palace of Parliament, where the demonstrators arrived in procession, from Victoriei Square. In front of the Parliament Palace, the protesters chanted "Nest of thieves and mobs", "Justice, not corruption", "We won't back down, we are coming after you", "You have not been voted to pardon yourselves.''
