Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu declared on Friday that a priority of his mandate is to increase Romanian production, a statement made in the context of the visit to one of the two factories in Sibiu of the maker of electronic equipment for the automotive industry Marquardt Schaltsysteme.
"When it comes to the automotive industry, the two big factories in Romania, Dacia and Ford, are most often talked about. And that's very good! They set the Romanian economy on the wheels! Alongside them, horizontally, we have hundreds of thousands of employees in the production of car components. Today we visited one of the two factories of the maker of electronic equipment for the car industry, Marquardt Schaltsysteme in Sibiu, the place from where parts for car companies from all over the world, from German ones to General Motors and Tesla go to. And I saw what is behind their success: a lot of work! The increase in Romanian production was and remains a priority of my mandate, because this is the sure way of development of this country", Ciolacu wrote on Facebook.
While visiting Sibiu, Marcel Ciolacu had lunch with the cadets of the Nicolae Balcescu Land Forces Academy from this city.
"They are young. They are beautiful. They are smart. They are the future leaders of the Romanian Army. It was a pleasure to have lunch today with the cadets of the Nicolae Balcescu Army Academy in Sibiu. It is true, I did not eat green beans, but the food was very very good", he mentioned in a post on Facebook.
