A number of 100,768 cases of respiratory infections - clinical flu, IACRS and pneumonia - were registered between November 25 and December 1, 69.6% more compared to the same week of the previous season (59,410) and 3, 2% more compared to the previous week (97,570), the National Institute of Public Health (INSP) informed on Thursday.
According to the quoted source, during the reference period, 378 cases of clinical flu were registered at the national level, compared to 306 in the same week of the previous season and 243 registered in the previous week.
Since the beginning of the season, 26 laboratory-confirmed cases of influenza have been reported, of which: 11 cases with non-subtyped influenza A virus, 10 cases with influenza B virus, four cases with AH1 influenza virus, one case with AH3 influenza virus.
Until December 1, a number of 1,059,141 flu-vaccinated people were registered in the National Electronic Register of Vaccinations (RENV), of which 1,041,264 were from the population groups benefiting from settlement under the compensated regime.
