A magnitude 3.3 earthquake occurred on Thursday, at 1:20 local time, in the eastern Vrancea seismic zone, Vrancea County, according to the information published by the National Institute of Research and Development for Earth Physics (INCDFP), agerpres reports.
Since the beginning of December, 23 earthquakes have occurred in Romania, with magnitudes ranging from 2.1 to 4.1 on the Richter scale.
The most important earthquake of this year occurred on May 26 and had a magnitude of 4.7. The earthquake was also felt in Bucharest.
