MApN/Graduation ceremonies at five national military colleges, Tilvar: We have supplemented available places

Over 560 12th grade graduates from the five National Military Colleges of the Ministry of National Defense, who make up the class with the honorary name "Queen Maria - 150", participate in the graduation ceremony on Wednesday.

On this occasion, the interim Minister of National Defense, Angel Tîlvăr, wished the students good luck in the Baccalaureate exam, which will begin soon, as well as in the admission exams to the military higher education institutions they have chosen, according to a press release from the MApN sent to AGERPRES.

According to Tilvar, the military institution attaches great importance to education, in all its dimensions, because it represents the main resource for personnel training.

"We have supplemented, year after year, the places available for training students in the five Military Colleges in Alba Iulia, Breaza, Câmpulung Moldovenesc, Craiova and Constanta. In parallel, we have launched extensive investment programs in the infrastructure of these institutions, to ensure the best living and training conditions for students," said the interim Minister of Defense.

Angel Tilvar also thanked the teaching staff and the students' families, appreciating their contribution to the success achieved by the young graduates in the various olympiads and competitions, as well as the excellent academic results they achieved during the four years of study, the MApN press release also states.

Wednesday's ceremonies will take place as follows:

* "Mihai Viteazul" National Military College in Alba Iulia - 9:00 a.m., at the institution's headquarters;

* "Dimitrie Cantemir" National Military College in Breaza - 9:00 a.m., at the institution's headquarters;

* "Stefan cel Mare" National Military College in Campulung Moldovenesc - 11:00 a.m., at the institution's headquarters;

* "Tudor Vladimirescu" National Military College in Craiova - 9:00 a.m., at the institution's headquarters;

* "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" National Military College in Constanta - 10:00 a.m., Constanta Military Port.

In total, in the 2024 - 2025 academic year, over 2,890 students are enrolled in the five National Military Colleges, of which about 980 are girls. Approximately 560 of them are in the 12th grade, of which over 200 are girls.
