The High Court of Cassation and Justice (ICCJ) decided on Monday to seize the amount of 9 million euro from the accounts of businessman Dorin Cocos, who was issued a final sentence to two years and four months in prison. Moreover, the court ordered the seizure of 2,050,000 USD and one million euro from businessman Nicolae Dumitru.
In respect to the other two defendants in the case, the amounts seized by the first court were kept in place, namely 3,996,360 euro from former Piatra Neamt mayor Gheorghe Stefan, and 2,196,035 euro from former minister Gabriel Sandu.
