More than 60 Dacia Duster cars will endow as of Thursday the 122 "Muntenia" Logistics Brigade within the Joint Logistics Command, the Ministry of National Defence (MApN) informed on Wednesday.
The Ministry of National Defence purchased 74 Romanian off-road vehicles this year through the Program for Stimulating the Renewal of the National Car Park, which are intended for military police missions and the participation of the Ministry of National Defence personnel in exercises and training activities.
Of this batch, 62 cars will endow the 122 'Muntenia' Logistics Brigade within the Joint Logistics Command, and the other 12 will be purchased for the 84th Maintenance and Reception Center, a structure of the Land Forces General Staff.
"Between 2015 and 2021, 886 Dacia Duster cars were purchased through the Car Renewal Program, of which 457 were in the mosaic color version," the Ministry of Defence states.
