The Association for the Promotion of Energy Efficiency in Buildings (ROENEF) announces the launch of the ROENEF Caravan, a project aimed at promoting energy efficiency in buildings and increasing the level of information, at the population level, regarding the benefits that energy efficiency brings in homes, both from an economic point of view, as well as from an environmental and healthcare point of view, according to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Monday.
Supported by ING Bank Romania, as partner and main sponsor, and implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests and the Department for Sustainable Development within the Government of Romania, the project brings to the fore state-of-the-art solutions for increasing energy efficiency in buildings, through a series of events organized in six cities in Romania.
The main attraction of the Caravan will be the nZEB demonstration house, exhibited in each of the six cities, respectively the presentation of the solutions included in it.
Among the energy efficiency technologies and solutions that will be exhibited are: carpentry and glazing systems, blinds and shading systems, air-to-air heat pumps, interior and exterior thermal insulation systems, intelligent control and monitoring systems, ventilated facades, panels photovoltaics with storage solutions, underfloor heating and intelligent lighting systems, etc.
The Association for the Promotion of Energy Efficiency in Buildings - ROENEF represents a non-profit, non-political association, formed by multinational companies, and its objective is to promote and support a legislative framework favourable to the increase of energy efficiency in buildings in order to achieve national and European objectives regarding the neutrality of carbon dioxide emissions of carbon, energy efficiency and energy from renewable sources.
