Romania and Latvia are close allies, firmly committed to Euro-Atlantic security, stated Minister of Foreign Affairs Dan Neculăescu.
He held discussions on Wednesday with his Latvian counterpart, Baiba Brae, on his first day at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, agerpres reports.
"Valuable exchange today with Braze Baiba. Romania and Latvia are close Allies, firmly committed to Euro-Atlantic security. Black Sea security is global food security. Support for Latvia's work on the UN Security Council," Neculaescu wrote in a post on X.
