New orders in the processing industry increased, in nominal terms, by 18.5%, between January 1 and November 30, 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS), Agerpres reports.
According to the INS, new orders in the processing industry, in November 2021, compared to the previous month, increased overall by 7.9%, as a result of increases in the capital goods industry (+11.9%), durable goods industry (+10.3%), current goods industry (+4.1%) and the intermediate goods industry (+1.8%).
Furthermore, new orders in the processing industry, in November 2021, when comparing with the corresponding month of the previous year, have gone up overall by 12.5%, due to the increase registered in the durable goods industry (+35.7%), intermediate goods industry (+35.5%), current goods industry (+3.1%) and capital goods industry (+2.3%).
