Romanian tennis player Nicholas David Ionel won the ITF tournament in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia, with total prize money worth 15k USD, after having defeated in the final Hungary's Gergely Madarasz, 6-7 (13/15), 6-1, 6-2, inform agerpres.ro.
Ionel, 22, ATP's 385th, main seeded, won after more than 3 hours of playing, 3 h 16 minutes, against a more experienced opponent, 30, rakned 786th.
This is Nicholas David Ionel's 15th ITF title, four of them having been won this year in Antalya, Constanta, Targu Mures and Tsaghkadzor.
