Over 600 inventions, research projects and innovative applications from various fields will be displayed between May 8-10 at EUROINVENT - European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation, one of the most highly regarded events in Europe by inventors, researchers and innovators.
In its seventeenth edition, EUROINVENT will bring hundreds of inventors, researchers, professors and entrepreneurs from over 30 countries to the Palace of Culture in Iasi, being the most important event in South-Eastern Europe dedicated to invention, applied research and knowledge transfer.
"We are delighted to welcome hundreds of participants from dozens of countries this year, who will present top technologies, inventions and innovations. Thanks to them, Iasi becomes a vibrant centre of cooperation, providing researchers with a platform to present their concepts, form alliances and receive recognition for their contributions to science on a global scale. Starting from the idea that innovation is the engine for a prosperous and peaceful future, EUROINVENT wants to inspire change, promote sustainability and promote global progress by encouraging the creation of new solutions," according to Chairman of the Romanian Inventors' Forum Andrei Victor Sandu.
He said that this year's edition will bring together over 600 inventions, research projects and innovative applications from engineering, medicine, agriculture, environment, applied arts, education and many others.
"Conceived as a festival of creativity, the event consists of, in addition to an exhibition of inventions and research, a conference on materials engineering, a book fair and a fine arts fair. That is why we invite scientists, business people, various organisations and enterprises to participate in this complex event. The event is also intended to be a platform through which we can all share our own vision with the world, regardless of the field: the creation of new materials, the transformation of healthcare, new green energy solutions or the latest advances in artificial intelligence and digital technologies", said inventor Andrei Victor Sandu, a corresponding member of the Romanian Academy of Scientists.
EUROINVENT is organised by the Romanian Inventors' Forum, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, Europe Direct Iasi (host structure: Association for Ecology and Sustainable Development), Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Gr. T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, National Institute of Research and Development for Environmental Protection Bucharest, in partnership with numerous international organisations.
