A total of 175,202 voters showed up to the polling stations in the diaspora, until Sunday, 9.00 am (Romania's time), in the parliamentary election, according to data provided in real time by the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP).
According to the AEP, since the opening of the polling stations, respectively from Saturday to Sunday, at 9.00 am, 170,859 Romanian citizens went to the polling stations, and 4,343 of them voted by correspondence, the total number of votes cast abroad currently being 175,202.
Most Romanian voters voted in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland - 31,547; Italy - 25,828; Germany - 25,009; Spain - 21,147; Republic of Moldova - 16,785; and France - 7,980.
Also, 1,301 voters voted in Sweden, 894 in Norway, 2,662 in Canada, and 3,167 in the United States.
Voting abroad is not possible with a mobile ballot box.

Voting in the diaspora in the parliamentary election takes place over two days, Saturday and Sunday.
