The pedestrian route "Open Streets - Bucharest" is expanding, starting from the weekend, with two new arteries - Amzei Square (between Calea Victoriei and Amzei Square) and Christian Tell Street (between Biserica Amzei Street and Piaţa Amzei Street), which will become pedestrianized for the entire duration of the project, until October, Agerpres reports.
"The extension of the pedestrian route in these areas represents a natural continuation of the initiative to make some of Bucharest's main arteries pedestrian-friendly and to transform public space into a community place," informs the City Hall of the Capital.
The artistic program on Calea Victoriei organized by ARCUB brings to the fore a series of cultural activities meant to transform the city into an open stage. The Bucharest Municipality Museum proposes permanent exhibitions and photographic retrospectives in the open air, the Kretzulescu Park area becomes a painting studio in public space, and in front of the National Museum of Art of Romania, the public can witness interactive magic shows, held by Magitot. The evening atmosphere is animated by street interventions presented by the Bucharest Metropolitan Circus and musical moments signed by the "Constantin Tanase" Revue Theater.
The complete weekend program is available on www.arcub.ro and on ARCUB communication channels.
