National leader of the opposition National Liberal Party (PNL) Ludovic Orban told President Klaus Iohannis at consultations at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace on Wednesday that PNL are supporting the resumption of debates on the laws of justice.
"The National Liberal Party has presented to the President of Romania the mandate that we received as a team, (...) which is an extremely simple mandate: the resumption of debates on the laws of justice, the Code of Criminal Procedure, the Criminal Code to take into account the recommendations made by the Venice Commission, the rulings of the Constitutional Court regarding the Code of Criminal Procedure and the Criminal Code, as well as all the treaties to which Romania is a party, and the international obligations incumbent on Romania," Orban said after the talks with Iohannis.
