PoliFest 2025 is a key moment for Romanian research, a place where innovative ideas from the academic community meet the real needs of the economy, said on Thursday Chairman of the National Research Authority Andrei Alexandru upon the opening of the 14th edition of the event that takes place at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
The event brings together researchers and professors, along with dozens of companies and research institutes, who for three days will present the latest technological discoveries and career opportunities for young people.
"With over 1,800 researchers and professors in attendance, along with dozens of companies and research institutes, we are building together a future in which science becomes the engine of sustainable progress in society," said Alexandru at the opening of the event.
Visitors are expected to discover state-of-the-art tech projects and discuss directly with experts as part of an event that celebrates partnership between education and the economy.
