President Dan has several brief meetings on NATO Summit sidelines

AGERPRES special correspondent Florin Stefan reports: President Nicusor Dan held brief discussions on Wednesday with several NATO state leaders on the sidelines of the summit, including Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

The Romanian President had pull-aside meetings with the President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova; the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb; the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatovic; the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic; the Prime Minister of Sweden, Ulf Kristersson; the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis; and the German Federal Chancellor, Friedrich Merz.

In addition, the Romanian President held brief talks with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon.

Earlier on Wednesday morning, President Dan had a bilateral meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Nicusor Dan will also have a bilateral meeting on Wednesday with Czech President Petr Pavel, on the sidelines of the NATO summit.
