President Klaus Iohannis has agreed to the declassification, according to the law, at the request of the issuing institutions, of the information presented by the Romanian Intelligence Service, the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the meeting of the Supreme Council of National Defence (CSAT) on November 28, the Presidential Administration announced on Wednesday, informs Agerpres.
According to the cited source, the decision adopted by the CSAT members in the November 28 meeting was sent to the Romanian Intelligence Service, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Special Telecommunications Service (STS), the Permanent Electoral Authority, Central Electoral Bureau, the Public Prosecutor's Office of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, the Ministry of Justice and the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications so that the necessary steps should be taken urgently, according to their legal powers, in order to clarify the issues presented in the CSAT meeting.
