President Klaus Iohannis will pay a visit to Moldova today, Agerpres reports.
According to the Romanian Presidential Administration, at 16:45hrs Iohannis will be welcomed by his Moldovan counterpart Maia Sandu.
The two chiefs of state will have one-on-one talks and public talks.
At the end of the talks, they will hold a joint news conference.
In February, Iohannis had a telephone conversation with his Moldovan counterpart Maia Sandu in which he reconfirmed "Romania's full support for Moldova and its citizens in this dramatic context in which our region finds itself."
On March 3, Maia Sandu signed the application for the accession of Moldova to the European Union, a fact welcomed by Iohannis, who underlined that Romania will give its full support in that endeavour.
