The National Political Council of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) on Wednesday decided that the Social Democrats will be part of the Luca Niculescu Cabinet.
According to party sources, PSD has decided to enter the government and support the cabinet led by Prime Minister-designate Luca Niculescu in Parliament.
According to the sources, PSD would have 11 ministers in the Niculescu Cabinet, and one of them will also hold the position of deputy prime minister.
On the list of ministers voted at the CPN meeting, according to the sources, are:
Marian Neacsu - minister of internal affairs and deputy prime minister;
Radu Oprea - defence minister;
Radu Marinescu - justice minister;
Alexandru Stoica - minister of development;
Stefan Ovidiu Popa - transport minister;
Mihai Ghigiu - minister of European investment and projects;
Daniel Zamfir - economy minister;
Florin Barbu - agriculture minister;
Alexandru Rogobete - health minister;
Florin Manole - labour minister;
Natalia Intotero - minister of the environment.
