Social Democratic Party (PSD) Chairman Liviu Dragnea said on Sunday evening that the Grindeanu Government is doing its job, at the same time mentioning that it is not the moment to replace any minister from office.
Asked if the Finance Minister, Viorel Stefan, will be replaced, Dragnea told Romania TV: "There have been no discussions so far in the Government, in the party or in the coalition, on his being replaced, in fact, on anyone's being replaced. It is not the moment now. I believe that sometime in May - June the Prime Minister together with us should do it, make an assessment of the governmental team activity. [...] To see if any changes are required in the Government or not. [...] I believe it is premature to discuss now. [...] Most ministers are doing their job. Almost all ministers have a very big problem, they don't communicate what they do."
Liviu Drangea also said that the economic results of the first three months of the year are good.
"The Government has done its job. [...] The results are good. Only in January and February 44,000 jobs emerged. [...] The economic data are very good," the PSD leader pointed out.
