Radu Craciun is retiring from the position of president - general manager of BCR Pensii, after a 10-year mandate, with the company's management being taken over by Cristian Pascu, according to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Wednesday.
"BCR Pensii announces the retirement of Radu Craciun from the position of President and General Manager, after a 10-year mandate marked by stability, solid leadership and significant contributions to the development of the private pension system in Romania. During his mandate, BCR Pensii consolidated its position in the market, successfully navigating complex economic contexts and actively contributing to promoting long-term financial health for its clients and the entire market as a whole," the press release reads.
The position of general manager will be taken over by Cristian Pascu, with over 25 years of experience in banking and financial markets, "built around the infrastructure of depository and custody services as well as the relationship with local and foreign institutional investors".
According to the cited source, Cristian Pascu had "an active role in the development of the Romanian capital market ecosystem, through involvement in relevant professional and associative bodies, contributing to the evolution of standards and the operating framework of the industry".
