The Romanian men's sabre team obtained the bronze medals in the U17 European Championships in Fencing hosted in Novi Sad (Serbia).
The fencers prepared by Alexandru Chiculita took on Italy in the bronze match, winning 45-37, according to the Romanian Fencing Federation.
The team composed of Casian Cidu, Dacian Enache, Rares Gheorghe, and Luca Radu defeated Greece, in the round of 16, beat Germany by 45-36, but lost the semifinal with Hungary, 37-45.
