Romania reports 82 confirmed, 21 suspected West Nile infection cases
As many as 82 confirmed West Nile cases and 21 suspected infections with the said virus were recorded as of October 26 since the beginning of the monitoring period for this disease, on June 6, the National Public Health Institute (INSP) informs.
According to INSP, 12 deaths from the West Nile virus were registered in the counties of: Bihor (1), Braila (1), Ilfov (3), Dolj (3), Prahova (1), Satu Mare (2), Sibiu (1).
