Romanian start-up launches AI-powered conversational platform for businesses

A new conversational platform powered by Artificial Intelligence - Conversational AI Optimization - designed to help companies understand and improve how generative AI systems perceive and describe their brands, was unveiled at this year's How to Web technology conference in Bucharest, taking place from October 1-2

"Until now, SEO and traditional digital marketing campaigns were the main tools for visibility. With the rise of ChatGPT and other language models, the rules of the game have changed. According to data presented by Genezio, 77% of US ChatGPT users already use it as a search engine, and the technology has become the fastest-adopted digital product in history, with over 700 million users"' highlighted Genezio in a press release sent to AGERPRES on Thursday.

The platform goes beyond SEO metrics or chatbot performance, tracking the entire conversational journey from a potential client's first question to a model like ChatGPT to the interaction with the company's AI agent or human support staff.

"The funnel has become conversational. We've moved from an attention economy to an intention economy. It's no longer about being first in 10% of searches but being present in 80% of relevant conversations and guiding them to the right outcomes. You can't optimize what you can't measure. LLM responses aren't fixed — they change based on the data they access. Through AI Judges, we give companies a way to understand and optimize how they're represented in AI-generated conversations," said Genezio co-founder and CEO Andrei Pitis.

The platform's features include conversational AI judges, independent evaluators that rate and explain model responses while allowing companies to measure relevant KPIs and gain actionable insights, real-time analysis of interactions with ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overview, proactive dialogue simulations to test proprietary chatbots and anticipate future conversation scenarios, monitoring of safety, accuracy and conversion in AI-human interactions, and live dashboards linking conversational improvements to leads and sales.

In 2024, Genezio raised a 2 million dollar pre-seed round led by GapMinder Ventures with participation from Underline Ventures. The platform is currently available to a limited number of clients, with extended access via a waiting list.
