The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday's trading session with most indices in the red and RON 71.78 million (EUR 14.10 million) worth of transactions.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, dipped 1.06 percent to 23,200.37 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares closed 1.02 percent down.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.91 percent lower, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK fell 0.53 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies picked up 0.49 percent, and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG slid 1.26 percent.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market went up 0.79 percent.
The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were Banca Transilvania with RON 11.93 million, followed by OMV Petrom with RON 11.33 million worth of trading, and the ETF BET Patria-Tradeville open-end investment fund with RON 5.98 million.
The best performing issuers were Armatura (+13.21%), SIF Hoteluri (+5.94%) and AETA SA (+5.22%).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Electroaparataj (-12.29%), Napoca Construction Company (-11.11%) and Comelf (-5.78%).
