Six Romanian tennis players qualified, on Thursday, for the quarterfinals of the ITF tournament in Galati, Romania, with total prize money this year reaching 15,000 US dollars.
Patricia Tig (seed no. 1), Karola Patricia Bejenaru (seed no.2), Georgia Andreea Craciun (seed no.3), Ioana Zvonaru (seed no. 4), Lavinia Tanasie (seed no. 5) and Elena Ruxandra Bertea are the players who won in the round of 16.
In the quarterfinals, Tig will face Tanasie, and Bertea will play against Zvonaru, Craciun will meet Sara Dols, and Bejenaru will play against Dutch player Demi Tran.
