Supplying water to consumers in Prahova County will be carried out progressively, according to mandatory technological procedures, only after the analysis of water quality parameters by the Prahova Public Health Directorate (DSP), and the process has not yet started, the National Administration Apele Romane [Romanian Waters] (ANAR) announced on Thursday.
In a press release, ANAR informs that the process of resuming water supply in Prahova County is taking place under safe conditions and under permanent monitoring.
Apele Romane specifies that it ensures the necessary volume of water in optimal parameters and permanently monitors turbidity.
"The distribution of water to consumers will be carried out progressively, according to the mandatory technological procedures, only after confirming the results of the DSP Prahova analyses. The process has not yet started, and any contrary information appearing online is false. The National Administration 'Apele Romane' actively participates in the operational meetings at the county level and supports the application of immediate solutions to normalize the situation", the document reads.
