Ten offers for Feasibility Study to modernize National Road 1 near Otopeni Airport

Ten offers were submitted for the development of the Feasibility Study for the modernization of the National Road 1 sector, between Henri Coanda Airport and the interchange with Motorway A0, the general director of the National Road Infrastructure Management Company (CNAIR), Cristian Pistol announced on Facebook on Wednesday.

The list of companies that submitted offers includes: Eco Geodrum, H.V.I.D. Consulting Group, Incons SRL, Like Consulting SRL, the association between Master Solutions Team (leader) and Vego Concept Engineering, MEM Project Construct SRL, Quadrante Viaponte Proiectare si Consultanta, Ria Design Consulting, the association between Dineng Dev SRL (leader) and Ecoproiect Design, Ventor Grup Consulting.

According to the cited source, the winner of the contract will have seven months to complete the Feasibility Study, based on which this national road sector will be widened to three lanes in each direction.

In addition, the designer will have to propose solutions for: achieving a more efficient connection with the A0, complete separation of road traffic over the proposed distance, ensuring a left turn for the return after the road junction with the A0 (in the Bucharest - Ploiesti direction), improving connectivity in the area of the Henri Coanda Airport.

The estimated value of the contract (financed by the 2021-2027 Transport Program) is 1.36 million RON (excluding VAT).
