Romanian tennis player Patricia Tig was defeated by Mexican Renata Zarazua, 7-5, 6-0, Tuesday, in the first round of the WTA 125 tournament in Parma (Italy), with total prizes of 100,000 euros.
Patricia Tig (30 years old, no. 218 WTA), coming from the qualifications, lost out after an hour and 45 minutes, Agerpres.
Tig is left with a cheque for 1,085 euros and 7 WTA points after her first match versus Zarazua (27 years old, no. 69 WTA), the sixth seed in Parma
