The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Wednesday's trading session lower, with a total trading value of 63.15 million RON (12.79 million euros).
The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were Hidroelectrica - with 20.68 million RON, OMV Petrom - with 7.59 million RON and Banca Transilvania - 6.63 million RON.
The main BET index went down by 0.65% to 12,983.12 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 37 most liquid shares on the stock exchange, recorded a 0.64% drop.
At the same time, extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed down 0.64% and the BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies was 0.43% lower.
The return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK closed the session down 0.46%, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG was down 0.8%.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market decreased 0.36%.
According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Comelf (+4.84%), Antibiotice (+3.42%) and Sinteza (+2.96%).
Conversely, the issuers on a downward trend were Socep(-12.16%), Impact Developer&Contractor (-3.75%) and SSIF BRK Financial Group (-2.85%).
