The minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Sorin Grindeanu, on a work visit to the construction site of the A7 Motor way, the eastern Buzau - Focsani lot, announced on Wednesday that traffic on the national road DN 7 - Valea Oltului (southern Romania) will be reopened on Wednesday evening, from 20:00, two days earlier than the initial deadline.
"If it weren't for the support of the prime minister, it would have been very difficult to face all kinds of smart people who, during this period, tried to explain to us how things can be done differently. We moved on, I thank the Romanians for going through this month that wasn't simple and understood that the goal is also to build motorways. I can't conclude without saying that I am satisfied with how the people from Valea Oltului worked, they did a good job, it was essential to maintain a high pace so that shorten this period as much as we could," Sorin Grindeanu said.
The traffic on DN 7 - Valea Oltului was stopped, on July 8, during the day between the towns of Boita and Lazaret, in central Sibiu County, to carry out some clearing works on the slope near the road, necessary for the future Sibiu-Pitesti motorway.
