The Infotrafic Center reports that road traffic has resumed on both directions of national road DN 21, in the area of Insuratei, eastern Braila County, where last night a road accident involving a coach with 73 people and a trailer Stationary truck occured, Agerpres reports.
The event ultimately resulted in 22 victims, with multiple injuries, who were transported to the hospital for the necessary medical care.
A 47-year-old Bulgarian driver, while driving a bus filled with 72 people, citizens of the Republic of Moldova, from Insuratei towards the town of Baraganul, allegedly hit a semi-trailer that was on the roadway, properly signaled, the Braila Inspectorate for Emergency Situations informed. Immediately, the red intervention plan was activated by ISU Braila.
