Arad border police have caught 26 immigrants from Pakistan, Bangladesh and India, aged between 21 and 34, hiding in a cornfield near the Hungarian border, all being asylum seekers in Romania, the Arad Border Police reported on Monday.
The immigrants were caught in the area of Nadlac as part of preventing and combating illegal migration.
The local authorities are said to continue such actions to prevent illegal migration moving forwar, Agerpres informs.
