Chairman of the Save Romania Union (USR) Dominic Fritz said on Friday that all the governing partners are to meet for the "final decisions" regarding the coalition agreement, informs Agerpres.
"We discussed the final details of the agreement. We are to meet again in a four- or five-party format, and also with the minorities' representatives, to nail down the coalition agreement, as a group, and the calendar for the coming days. I also discussed some aspects we, the USR, are particular about, which are important to us. I am highly confident that we will be able to collaborate well with Prime Minister-designate Bolojan. I believe that the Romanians are waiting for us to get down to work. And that's what we will do," Fritz said on Friday, after a meeting at the Senate with Prime Minister-designate Ilie Bolojan.
He specified that the Prime Minister-designate will communicate all the details about the program and that the entire package will be announced in a consistent manner.
President Nicusor Dan appointed on Friday interim leader of the National Liberal Party Ilie Bolojan as prime minister-designate, after holding consultations on Thursday with the political parties and formations represented in Parliament to vet the nominee for chief of the Executive.
