The Bucharest Traffic Police announced on Tuesday evening that traffic had resumed in all directions, after having been restricted on several streets following the protest in Victoriei Square.
All roads leading to Victoriei Square had been restricted on Tuesday to facilitate the gendarmes' intervention against violent protesters.
Thirty individuals who engaged in violent conduct at the Victoriei Square protest were detained by gendarmes and taken to various police stations, the Bucharest Police reported.
Additionally, 24 people required medical attention, including eight gendarmes.
