The Nadlac II customs is very crowded on Wednesday and there are queues of vehicles on the way out of Romania, although the authorities are using the point at an extended capacity, as there are also used the roads to enter the country for those going abroad, but the waiting time for them is at least 90 minutes.

Representatives of the Arad Border Police told AGERPRES that there are a lot of cars on the way out of the country, as Romanians who work abroad and came on holiday to visit their families are now going back to their workplaces, agerpres reports.

At Nadlac II, where there are ten exits and ten entrances to the country, 12 are used for exits - nine for light traffic and three for freight traffic.

"Given the very intense traffic in this period, at Nadlac II we are using an extended capacity, namely some entry arteries are now used for exiting the country," spokesman of Arad Border Police Andrei Dinca told AGERPRES.

However, the waiting time for light and tourist traffic is at least 90 minutes at the exit from Romania and queues of cars, coaches and minibuses have formed on the pan-European motorway.

At Nadlac I, the situation is better, with a waiting time of 40 minutes. Here two exit roads are open for light and tourist traffic.

The authorities recommend that visitors to the country consult the "Trafic online" application on the Border Police website, where waiting times at each crossing point are indicated and alternative routes can be found to avoid congestion at some border crossings.
