The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued on Monday a warning for strong winds and moderate rainfall across the country, as well as snow in mountainous areas, valid until Tuesday morning.
According to meteorologists, between 10:00 on 30 March and 10:00 on 31 March, wind will temporarily intensify in most of Moldavia and Dobrogea, locally in the eastern half of Muntenia, and in the west and southwest of Oltenia, with speeds generally between 40 and 50 km/h.
During the same period, rain is expected in most regions, with local accumulations of 10-25 l/sqm.
In the mountains, at altitudes above 1,600 metres, rainfalls will mostly take the form of snow, the ANM mentioned.
According to the forecast for Bucharest, until Tuesday morning the sky will be cloudy with occasional light rain. Winds will be light to moderate, with a maximum temperature around 14 degrees Celsius and a minimum between 4 and 6 degrees.
