Over 300 Romanian entrepreneurs, managers and professionals from the country and the diaspora will take part in the 11th edition of the RePatriot Summit, opening on 1 October at the Cotroceni Palace. The event is held under the High Patronage of the President of Romania and continues until 4 October in Mamaia and across Dobrogea, a release informs.
Organisers say the summit brings together over 300 Romanian entrepreneurs, managers and professionals from the country and the diaspora around themes such as Romania's development, investment, security, performance and strengthening ties between Romanians everywhere and their homeland.
Day 1, hosted at the Cotroceni Palace, is dedicated to recognising Romanians who have excelled in various fields and communities worldwide. The Top 100 Romanians Everywhere Gala, now in its ninth edition, celebrates individuals selected for their achievements, contributions and impact abroad.
Also on 1 October, the Romania Performance Excellence Program Gala is set to highlight organisations and leaders who build long-term performance and excellence through results, management and development.
Marius Bostan, entrepreneur and RePatriot founder, says the initiative has kept the same mission for more than a decade: "For eleven years now, RePatriot has brought to the same table Romanians who build at home and around the world. Partnerships, investments, community projects and people returning closer to Romania have all grown from these meetings. This year we come with the same energy, but with a sharper stake - to defend, invest, grow and look to the Black Sea as a frontier on which the country's future depends."
On 2 October, in Mamaia, discussions will focus on Romania as Europe's first line of defence, and on transformations in the Black Sea region security, energy, infrastructure, trade and technology.
The programme continues with sessions on trust and protection, education and the new generation, organisational excellence, investment and the role of Romanian expertise from the diaspora in the country's development. Capital, innovation and new forms of collaboration between entrepreneurs in Romania and abroad are also on the agenda.
On 3 October, participants will step outside the classic conference format and work in teams within RePatriot Labs, tackling concrete projects and challenges linked to the Black Sea.
A sea-experience segment - departing from Limanu and sailing toward Mangalia - will complement the working day, encouraging closeness, collaboration and teamwork. The day will end at the Constanta Casino with a special classical music concert.
The final day, 4 October, is dedicated to Dobrogea. Participants will travel toward Bucharest on a route including Tropaeum Traiani at Adamclisi, Saint Andrew's Cave, Dervent Monastery and the Danube - "a journey that closes the Summit beyond conference halls and brings back into focus places and stories that are part of Romania."
