As many as 5,206 people with COVID-19, including 91 children, are hospitalised in Romania at specialist care facilities, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS), the official novel coronavirus communication task force, reported on Tuesday, agerpres reports.
According to GCS, out of the total number of hospitalised patients, 834 patients, including seven children, are in intensive care.
Of the 834 patients admitted to ICU, 75 have a certificate attesting to vaccination.
In Romania, 25,042 people confirmed with the novel coronavirus are in isolation at home and 5,626 are in institutional isolation.
Also, 50,205 people are in quarantine at home and 57 in institutional quarantine.
In the last 24 hours, 1,755 COVID-19 related calls were reported to the 112 emergency line, and 1,168 to the 0800 800 358 toll-free COVID-19 info line.
